The artists made a strong effort to build on poor rushed writing and managed to create something out of nothing. I was very disappointed to be introduced to a very promising "home" by one of my favorite artists, Ricky Gervais, and then be taken through a pointless ride only to end up at a most expected outcome. (Trying to spare you from spoilers. Anyways, this movie could have been quite good but sadly it is not.

The willoughbys is a kid animated film that is very different from many others,starting with unique animation that was maybe little off and not so pretty looking but for this film it surved its purpose,this film dosent have many nice messages that kids can learn from it,and parents are very unlikeable and just plain dreadful in every scene they were in but i liked that since it changed some staff and it didnt followed the same formula over and over again,voice acting was also very good but narrating was unnecserey to me and it felt out of place,willoughbys was a fine animated film but it has some quality ideas and darker feel that helps it to distant itself from many others that feel the same.
